Highway Equipment company is excited to provide our client Costa Contracting with Highway machines to clear out the site for the Glasshouse project in Station Square, Pittsburgh.

Costa is using some of the premier brands in heavy equipment for this job, including Kobelco excavators, Hyundai wheel loaders, Bell trucks, and Sakai Compaction Rollers.

The site will be the home to a 5-story development called Glasshouse that will have 319 apartments overlooking the Monongahela River with retail space on the ground floor, scheduled to open in 2019.

 

Highway Donates Bikes to Toys for Tots

We had the honor of donating 100 bikes for the MarineCorp’s Toys for Tots. The bikes will be distributed to kids in need this Christmas. Thom, Highway Equipment Company’s President, and his daughter, Sarah, were thrilled to represent Highway at the presentation.

Highway Equipment participates in Cranberry’s Touch-A-Truck event

Highway Equipment was a proud to participate in another year of the very fun “Touch-a-Truck” Cranberry Township community event.

Kids of all ages were able to see and explore different types of trucks and vehicles while spending an afternoon in the park. Organized by the Cranberry Library and the Cranberry Township, the event took place on August 16 at the Cranberry Community Park, north of Pittsburgh, PA.
